about the designer
I’ve loved to create for as long as I can remember. I decided early on to turn this passion into my career. During college I studied both fine art and design and promptly found myself learning to design for the web when I entered the workforce. I’ve spent the last few years sharpening my skills and keeping up to date with the latest standards. I feel my style evolves as I evolve as an artist and a person.
"Simple style is like white light. It is complex, but its complexity is not obvious."
- Anatole France
My Style
I love design that is fresh simple and clean - Design that gives you "room to breathe" and brightens your mood with brilliant color and simplicity. My favorite part of being a designer is the feeling of accomplishment after the client responds with an enthusiastic approval. My favorite line so far – “It is exactly what we were looking for even though we didn't know it.”. That is the happiest part of my job! I think its extremely important that I continue to move forward and evolve as a designer. I feel myself reaching new levels with every project I take on.

Where I'm at in the world
Currently there are two places I call home: St. Louis, Missouri and San Jose Costa Rica. I moved to St. Louis to study at Maryville University. I fell in love with the city and decided to stay. There I began working as a designer for a St. Louis company which later opened an office in Costa Rica. I happily accepted an offer to move to the San Jose branch to work. I’ve been living in Costa Rica for more than a year and a half and frequently fly back to St. Louis. I’m able to have the best of both worlds! I’ve had no trouble working with clients in the states while located in Costa Rica. In such a globalized, high-tech world its just as easy to communicate from a few thousand miles away as it is from a few streets away. The change of pace is great for the creative mind!
